Stage

The stories have been produced as staged readings through an ever-rotating cast of artists (and, at times, with the help of directors like LAByrinth Theater Company's Scott Illingworth and ARTBARN's Jess K Smith).

Each performance was done as a fundraiser to benefit a specific cause. And, in addition to the spoken stories, the shows drew from a recipe that often included live music, physical acting, simple lighting effects and whatever site-specific magic that the performance space provided to create an engaging storytelling experience.

Performances took place at:

Columbia's Schapiro Theatre (NYC)
Smyrna Opera House (Delaware)
Millennium Dance Complex (LA)
Bricolage Theatre (Pittsburgh)
The Spot (Chicago)
Space On White (NYC)
Windsor Community Center (Ohio)

Blog

Begun in 2002, this is where all the stories came from. For a time, the stories were also released on Allister's Myspace page and, for one reason or another, collected quite the Germano-Turkish following.
